Why Dental Care Matters for Pets
Does your pet have bad breath? Dental disease is one of the most common health issues in dogs and cats, and it often goes unnoticed and/or unchecked. Left untreated, it can lead to chronic pain, infection, tooth loss, and even can impact heart, liver, and kidney health. Most pets need professional cleanings by ages 3-5, but regular at-home care can delay that. Regular dental care helps your furry friend avoid painful cavities, tooth root abscesses and infected gums - all of which are painful and require more aggressive (i.e. costly) veterinary attention.
