About Surgeries

Surgery Services vary at each BoosterPet Clinic. We generally offer:

  • Soft Tissue Procedures: spays, neuters, lump/bump removals, bladder surgeries, gastropexies, splenectomies, and basic orthopedic procedures

  • Dentistries and Dental Surgeries: extractions and full comprehensive dental cleanings

  • Urgent Care Surgeries: treatment for lacerations, torn nails, and similar injuries at select clinics

What to Expect

Your pet will receive instructions pre-surgery. Typically, no food after 10 pm the night before, water is ok, and morning meds with minimal food if needed

  • Drop-off: You will drop off your pet into the care of our Vet team at a time communicated to you

  • Pick-up: most pets are ready for pick-up between 4-6 pm, with staff communicating updates via call or text

  • Post-op support: We will give you home-care instructions, pain meds if needed, guidance, and possibly schedule follow-ups if recommended for suture checks and recovery support

Safety & Anesthesia

All surgical patients benefit from the state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring and pre-anesthetic diagnostics (bloodwork, X-rays, etc.) Our Wellness exams also ensure pets are healthy enough for anesthesia.
