About Urgent Care

An Urgent Care appointment, sometimes called “minor emergency care,” is designed for sudden, but not life-threatening, health issues in pets. We provide walk-in appointments at most locations, veterinarians will see your pet, provide same-day diagnostics, treatment plan, and same-day home returns. Urgent care appointments are typically 50% less than ER visits with more transparent and upfront fees. We also offer financing options and BoosterPetPack members receive 50% off Urgent Care exams.

When to Choose Urgent Care

These appointments are ideal for when your pet is experiencing sudden or concerning symptoms such as: 

  • Vomiting or Diarrhea 

  • Coughing or Sneezing

  • Minor Wounds or Minor Bite Injuries

  • Limping or Signs of Pain

  • Changes in Urination (unless your pet is a male cat straining to urinate which calls for going to the ER)

  • Hives, Itching, Allergies

  • Itchy Ear, Eyes, Skin Issues

  • Situations where “something’s just not right” but it’s not life-threatening

When to Choose Emergency Care

If your pet shows distress like respiratory problems, foreign body ingestion, straining to urinate in male cat, choking, heavy bleeding, serious trauma, seizures, you should go directly to an ER. If you are still unsure if your pet needs Emergency Care, give us a call at 206-822-4991.
