  • Euthanasia is available at all six of our BoosterPet clinics: BoosterPet Federal Way, BoosterPet Puyallup, BoosterPet Kirkland, BoosterPet Bonney Lake, Lake Stevens Animal Hospital, and Minter Veterinary Hospital.

    Please note we do not do at home euthanasia appointments, but we can recommend you trusted providers.

  • Before your visit, we'll walk you through your aftercare options so you can choose what feels right for your family: home burial, private cremation, or communal cremation.

    If your pet has already passed, we're still here to help. Private and communal aftercare services are available for them as well.

  • Deciding it’s time can sometimes be the hardest part of the process. Our veterinary team can offer a quality-of-life consultation at a wellness exam to help guide you. We will look at pain level, comfort, mobility, appetite, and behavior, as well as see whether your pet seems to enjoy their normal routine. Your observations on how they’ve been eating, moving, sleeping, and engaging day to day can also help bring some clarity on your pet’s quality of life, comfort, and dignity.

  • The price of the euthanasia starts around $288, and will vary depending on size, weight, and location.

    Aftercare and memorial services vary depending on if you choose at-home burial, private cremation, or communal cremation. Please give us or your preferred clinic a call for more information about cost and options.

  • No, a sedative is administered to relieve any anxiety and the euthanasia itself is painless

  • Yes, you and your loved ones are welcome to stay for the entire process. If you'd rather step out, our team will care for your pet with the same gentleness as if you were there.
